Campbell-Stone welcomes and embraces volunteers. We believe volunteers enhance the quality of life for our residents (and for themselves)! Caring volunteers can make a valuable contribution to our residents' lives by assisting with programs and activities.
Working with volunteers, we:
- Provide orientation and training
- Recognize and support each volunteer
- Encourage people of all ages to participate.
Volunteers can help on many levels. Some specific opportunities include:
Volunteers are needed to provide companionship through regular visits and phone calls to residents. Volunteers may assist residents with paying bills, grocery shopping and other tasks of daily living. Families may "adopt" a resident including them in holiday celebrations or to be a "grandparent" to their children.
Volunteers are needed for driving residents to medical appointments, for shopping, for visiting family or friends in the hospital or participating in other activities.
Volunteers assist with parties, receptions and special events.
Campbell-Stone helps youth groups, scout troops, and others plan multiple-day service camps at one of our communities. Youth group camps are extremely popular with both the residents and the volunteers. Please contact us for additional information.
Share Your Talent
Campbell-Stone residents love children and adults to share their talents with them. If you have a special talent – storytelling, music, drama, photography, you name it – our residents would love a visit. Perhaps you have been on an exciting trip – our residents love travelogues.
Many opportunities are available to share your talents and interests.
